Two years ago, when I was just a lowly video intern at Nuvo, I received the pleasure of going all around Indianapolis and trying different restaurants and making videos about them. One of the best experiences was going to Devour Downtown and sampling foods from restaurants like the newly-open Scotty’s Brewhouse (now a local legend).

Devour Downtown had some great $30 dinner deals. Some of them ranged from 2-person 3-course meals, to 1-person 3-course meals. Either way, they were great ways to check out some of the great locally owned restaurants in Indianapolis.

Devour Downtown is now back for it’s sixth year and will be offering deals at restaurants like Scotty’s Brewhouse, shelBi street caFe, Creation Cafe, and more. Definitely make sure you go out and try out one of these restaurants if you haven’t before. Make sure to visit soon since the Winter Deals only last from Jan.24 to Feb. 5.

I am sure many of those in Indy have probably already heard about Dr. Manhattan breaking up, but if you haven’t, here is the statement from their MySpace page (yes, MySpace):

The word on the street is true. After many wonderful years of playing, traveling, and friend making, we have decided to call an end to drmanhattan. We all agree on it being the right time to cover some new ground in our lives. You only live once! We’ve had so many good times, we thank anyone and everyone who took part in or around them. We’re sorry for canceling the tour for November, but we had to make the decision.We’re going to have an amazing last show on December 23 at the Beat Kitchen with Truman & His Trophy,Mutts, and red delicious.
